Sanai Psychological & Spiritual Institute is a unique therapeutic set-up that provides care and cure to hundreds of thousands of people on humanitarian grounds. The living spirit of this colossal spiritual and psychological healing activity is Dr Rana Sanaullah Khan.
Dr Rana Sanaullah Khan is a scholar of astounding stature. An epitome of profound knowledge and practical wisdom, he is endowed with scholastic explication and pure spirituality. Charged with love for humanity, he is blessed by Allah the Most High with a spiritual therapeutic vision. He was born in Lahore . Accomplishing early education in Rahim Yar Khan, he graduated from Islamiya University Bahawalpur in 1985. He qualified his master degree with distinction in education from IER, the University of the Punjab in 1988. Two years later in 1990, he meritoriously completed his M.A. in Physical Education from Government College of Physical Education, The University of Punjab, Lahore.
He started his practical career from Garden College Lahore as Director Physical Education. He qualified Punjab Public Service Commission in 1993 securing top position, and attained to the position of a subject specialist in physical education. He got the degree of Doctorate in Psychology from Colombo in 2004. The topic of his dissertation for PhD was: The Role of Spiritualism in Psychotherapy. He is the first Pakistani who acquired a PhD in spirituality. He has completed another PhD in Physical Education in 2011. The Dissertation in Physical Education from the University of Education, Lahore on: “The Development and Validation of Physical Education Curriculum at Primary Level”. He also has distinction of being first Pakistani who acquired Ph.D in Physical Education.
He inclined towards spirituality in 1990. In 1993, he met Hazrat Baba Muhammad Qasim and Hazrat Baba Jameel, the renowned spiritual personalities. Tenaciously stuck to their company, he carved out of him a spiritual person and was blessed with a new mind-set. He started obtaining spiritual guidance through dreams of spiritual import and travailed spiritual trek under this guidance and recitation. What brought him charisma was the spiritual blessing he obtained from many saints, spiritual personalities and shrines of various mystics. So he passed through various phases of spiritual development.
He had visited a number of convents and monasteries during his spiritual excursion. Practical exposure to shrines and convents and close study of their aims and objectives and administration and managerial arrangements lit in him a fire to go for an educational facility in spiritualism on modern lines. All ingredients put together, he set up the Sanai Psychological & Spiritual Institute and took over the responsibilities of its director vested with administrative powers, instruction responsibilities and spiritual therapeutic role has to heal the afflictions of the agonized human beings. Since then he is treading the path of serving humanity.
For last about two decades, he has been making valuable contributions to cure the ailing people of maladies they suffer, healing their diseases through his spiritual powers and psychological expertise. His research paper “Non Meditative techniques to control Panic Attacks” was presented during a conference at Westminster University England in 2003. This paper was appreciated by authorities all over the world. Another paper “Analysis of Panic Attacks” was presented in the 2nd International Psycho-Physiology Conference, London in 2004.
Ha has also widely traveled and has visited Europe and America frequently. During his visit to America he was interviewed by Sangeet Radio, Voice of America, 1180 Radio Houston, Pendle Community Radio Awaz Nelson UK and Pakistan News. While delivering his lecture at Houston, hundreds of people contacted him through live calls and got solution to their problems. During his visit to UK, he delivered lectures and appeared in live programs on DM Islam TV, DM Digital, DM Global TV and Crescent Radio. In this way, his message was communicated to different communities the world over and spiritual healing was administered to a large number of people face-to-face as well as distantly. Here too hundreds of people contacted him through live calls and got blessings. He often appears at different Pakistani
Channels like A-Plus tv, Samaa tv, City42, Royal TV, PTV, Din TV, Apna TV, ATV, Star Asia, Channel 5 tv, Royal tv Waseb TV, FM 95, FM 94.6 radio, Punjab Rang Radio and many others. He also writes on issues in many dailies like Daily Jang and Daily Nawa-e-Waqt.
His spiritual institute has flourished over the years. About 125000 people are the members of his spiritual order. He has trained about 96 disciples who are serving humanity around the globe with the blessings of the Holy Quran. His spiritual services have also proved quite productive in propagating the message of Islam, promoting peace and harmony in society and advancing the cause of happiness in various communities on the globe.
In recognition of his spiritual competence and selfless service, appreciated the spiritual cure wrought by him in July 2010. Vide his letter Ref. WAKEFIELD WF1 3SP dated 15 July, Dr P Collins MBB Ch FRC, Psych Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist wrote:
“This memo is to confirm that, as the clinician responsible for the patient, I give permission to Dr Khan to visit the patient at Newton Lodge in order to address his spiritual needs.”
Dr Khan saw the patient on humanitarian grounds providing him gratis treatment and served him towards completion of his cure. He has been awarded the title of “Ambassador for Peace” by interreligious and international federation of peace.
